In its sixth line of business, Westfield, one of the largest property and casualty insurance companies, reveals a market-leading environmental underwriting team and its sixth line of business. A wide range of contractors of all sizes can be supported by Westfield Specialty Environmental, like Environmental Contractors' Pollution and Professional Liability (CPPL) policy. There are no state restrictions on these policies, written on non-admitted paper and rated "A" by AM Best.

The team will rapidly expand as part of its environmental liability product offerings. An Owner's Protective Pollution and Professional Indemnity (O3PI) policy will be available later this year. In July 2021, Westfield Specialty launched and underwrites six lines of business: E&S property, E&S excess casualty, professional lines, financial institutions, management liability, and now environmental. To provide specialty insurance solutions to help business partners and the industry, Westfield Specialty will continue adding new business lines. In 2022, Westfield Specialty wrote USD 1 billion in gross written premiums.
