Some steps that you can take to employ less electricity are easy and save money, like substituting incandescent light bulbs with LED bulbs that employ less electricity, including insulation to your home, and setting the thermostat minimum in the winter and more in the summer, particularly when no one is home. New technologies also help keep buildings energy efficient, such as glass reflecting heat, low-flow water fixtures, smart thermostats, and modern air conditioning technology with refrigerants that don't generate warming. In urban and suburban backgrounds, green or cool roofs can restrict the heat in buildings during hot days and help lower the urban heat island effect.
Cause electricity is without emissions.
Renewable energy sources incorporate solar energy, wind turbines, geothermal energy, ocean wave and tidal energy, waste and biomass energy, and hydropower.
