DECEMBER 202419 ENVIRONMENTAL BUSINESS REVIEWTailored Environmental Solutions for a Sustainable FutureAs specialists in odor and volatile organic compounds (VOC) control, we are the only company in our space that offers a one-stop-shop service. We manufacture our chemicals, fabricate our equipment, and routinely customize for a specific customer applicationand VOCs is needed. This foam produces an impermeable, flexible membrane that seals a surface to prevent emission release. Like the ADC foam, remediation foams can be used at any temperature, are nonhazardous, biodegradable, and contain zero PFAS.Atmos provides custom-designed odor neutralization systems that are highly effective in controlling odors in various environments. The concentrated products eliminate odor at the source, not just mask them. The customizable systems are available as either vapor or mist units, can be freeze protected, and offered as stationary or mobile systems. All units are built with the highest quality hoses and nozzles to withstand the most rugged conditions and consistent with all other Atmos products, 100 percent PFAS free.As POTWs continue to limit, or even refuse, untreated leachate, landfills are faced with mounting challenges and increased costs associated with leachate disposal. Atmos Technologies has developed an exciting solution - on-site leachate treatment equipment that turns raw leachate into nonhazardous water that meets RCCRA standards. The portable equipment fits inside a 40-foot shipping container and cleans up to 30,000 gallons of raw leachate per day. The chemical coagulation plus three stage filtration system reduces contaminants such as iron, sodium, and PFAS. All benefits of the system - including PM programs, filter replacements, chemical dosing, and regulatory/technical support are rolled into a single, flat, competitive usage fee. This solution offers an economical alternative to landfills who otherwise would have to find off-site locations for disposing their leachate, requiring costly transportation and discharge costs.A commitment to reduce the environmental impact of industrial operations drives Atmos. Its cutting-edge proprietary technologies enable it to deliver innovative and personalized solutions that cater to the specific requirements of each application. Whether reducing waste or protecting the infrastructure, Atmos leverages its expertise to deliver efficient and environmentally friendly services."As specialists in odor and volatile organic compounds (VOC) control, we are the only company in our space that offers a one-stop shop service. We manufacture our chemicals, fabricate our equipment, and routinely customize for customer applications," says Fred Rullo, president and CEO of Atmos.Recently, a landfill approached Atmos asking for help to convert raw leachate to water to be used in their ADC foam applications. Their ADC water demand equaled 2,000 gallons per day, and the treated water had to meet RCCRA standards. The Atmos team developed a small-scale, on-site leachate treatment unit to meet those requirements, and the landfill was quickly running their ADC foam using 3,000 gallons of treated leachate daily. Pleased, the landfill quickly upped the ante. Atmos engineers went to work, increasing capacity while improving the design. After a series of tests at the new volume, the landfill was pleased to learn that water quality improved after increasing output 10x. As a result, the customer was able to convert 30,000 gallons of raw leachate per day into water used on site for foam and odor/dust suppression. In today's world, where sustainability and environmental accountability are top priorities, Atmos Technologies stands out for its innovation and proficiency. Its dedication to minimizing the ecological impact of industrial processes and offering environmentally friendly alternatives is exceptional. By leveraging advanced technology and unmatched knowledge, Atmos will continue to deliver customized solutions that address the unique needs of every application. < Page 9 | Page 11 >
